Latham introduces bipartisan nursing bill
Iowa Congressman Tom Latham introduced legislation to alleviate the nationwide nursing shortage on March 12, 2009. The Nurses' Higher Education and Loan Repayment Act would establish a student loan repayment program for nurses who agree to teach at an accredited school of nursing for at least four years after earning an advanced degree.
