Social Security garnished after student loan defaults
CINCINNATI (Paula Toti) -- Millions of Americans are having difficulty paying off federal student loans.
Now some seniors are finding out what can happen if you default on those loans. When it comes to paying off student loans, most college students are hoping for the best-case scenario. But Eileen Joyce might be dealing with the worst.

Home-health nurse owes state $146,000
UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- A home-health nurse from Clermont County owes the state $146,000.
Ohio's auditor said she fraudulently billed the state for Medicaid. Patricia Fugate billed Medicaid for more services than any other independent nurse in Ohio from 2009 to 2011. That's the period the audit reviewed.
The auditor said of the 998 nursing services Fugate billed for, 112 of them overlapped with care supposedly given to another patient at the same time. Obviously, she couldn't...
