Student loan interest rates to double in July?
Student loan debt has surpassed the $1 trillion mark and in July things can get a little trickier for college grads struggling to pay off their school loans. If Congress doesn't act fast, interest rates on government subsidized loans can potentially increase two-fold by July First. President Obama has publicly addressed Congress in hopes of something being done soon. Stef Gray, economic justice organizer for Change.org, joins us with more.

Be cautious of the programs that are out there claiming to help eliminate or pay off student loans. This is a very sensitive subject matter and people will try to take advantage of the situation. The company River Debt which tried to convinced me to sign a 120 month payment plan of $534. If anyone knows any information about this company or any company dealing with such matter, please so we can be aware and educated.
